What to Expect on Sunday

As you enter our little church on the corner you are greeted by our friendly welcomers who will direct you to making a name badge if you desire, and orient you to the space and invite you to find a seat. The welcomers are also happy to provide you with more information in SFUU, UUism and how to connect with us online.

Our worship celebration begins at 10:00 am. The children join us for the first part of the service as we share a Time for All Ages, after which, the children and youth leave the sanctuary to attend their RE classes. Your children are always welcome to remain with you and there is always a coloring/craft table in the sanctuary for any child for quiet activities, as well as a Peace rug with pillows and stuffed animals.

Our services are live streamed on Youtube, and you are also invited to join us in Zoom (by clicking the button above).

We strive to serve everyone’s needs and we offer large print Orders of Service, Online Orders of Service, and assisted listening devices and a full video screen for music lyrics and readings.

Our services end around 11:15am and after the service we gather outdoors - weather permitting for community and conversation.

The one thing we all learned during the Covid Pandemic was ways to spread our technological wings to provide as much accessibility to all on Sundays.

When you attend our Sunday service, we hope you will find spiritual nourishment as well as inspiration for living your life, embodying your values, and making a difference in the world, as well as coping withe stress and uncertainty during this time of social distancing and sheltering in place.

We invite you to sing along, listen, grow and learn together with us and know that your inclusion is important to us, even if you are not yet ready to join us in person.

If you would like more information about our congregation, or our Sunday morning worship, please contact our Minister, The Reverend Alex da Silva Souto or our Church Office Administrator.

If you are a first-time visitor or would like to be added to our weekly ebeacon list and stay updated, please fill out our Newcomer Welcome Form.
