Music and Choir

Music is critical to spiritual exploration at SFUU.

We listen, sing, chant, and drum to help us express emotions. Music also helps awaken our spiritual selves and lets us experience the world with our hearts and souls in addition to our minds.

Our Unitarian Universalist faith recognizes the wisdom inherent in many of the world’s religions and cultures, so worship elements, such as music, help to convey and celebrate the diversity of what it means to be a human being seeking meaning and purpose in community. We are thrilled to have such a gifted musician as our Music director who not only shares her talents, but brings a wide variety of world music and musicians to us which contribute greatly to our worship experience.
