Children/Youth Religious Education
Make a difference in the lives of our children (and their parents) by volunteering for the Children/Youth Religious Education (RE) program! RE classes take place during the worship services on Sunday mornings and 2 adults are present in each class. Here are ways that you can serve:
Teacher or assistant – Lead or assist with leading lessons! Lessons and materials are provided.
Youth Advisor – Youth practice running their own group, but they still need supervision!
Assist with extra-curricular events – Get to know our children and youth during field trips, social action activities.
Become a member of the R.E. Team – Congregation members can sit on this fun committee which plans social events and helps guide the children and youth programs. No experience required!
Child Care – apply to work as a childcare provider in the nursery (paid position) or volunteer to be a backup!
If you have questions about teaching or assisting in R.E. please contact Linda Mercurio.
